BVL Symposium “Challenges in 2012”
Today consumers are able to purchase goods and services both at home and abroad. But even though there is a largely harmonised European standard for rights supporting the economic protection of consumers in this area, in practice these rights are often breached. But how can we enforce consumer law more extensively and effectively for everybody in our globalised world?
This question will be addressed by this year’s BVL Symposium with its title “Borderless Consumer Protection!? - Effective enforcement, powerful consumers”. Detailed information can be found on the special website with information about the BVL Symposium.
The symposium will take place on 7 November 2011 at the Federal Press Office in Berlin.
